Intel's Next Generation "Cascade Lake-X" HEDT Processors Expected in October

[ad_1]

Intel announced Wednesday that its next-generation code-named Cascade Lake-X processors for high-end desktop computers will be unveiled next month. The company says that the new processors will dramatically increase performance per dollar over existing Skylake-X products with the code name, which gives insight into chip improvements.

Of course, Intel does not disclose the specifications of its processors in at least a month. He therefore presented a slide showing the relative performance per dollar in content creation applications. According to Intel's internal testing, its Cascade-Lake-X processors will provide a relative performance improvement of 1.74 times to 2.09 times per dollar compared to Skylake-X.

Trying to determine the number of cores or the exact price of Cascade Lake-X processors from a performance chart is certainly not a good deal. Since Intel launched its 2North Dakota Xeon Generation Evolutionary Products We know that the company offers either a higher frequency or several cores at the same price compared to the products of the previous generation. It is reasonable to expect Cascade Lake-X to offer the same benefits as Skylake-X. In addition, Intel has launched the Xeon W-3200 series based on Cascade Lake, which will offer some similarities with these parts.

Intel's Cascade Lake-X processors will use the LGA2066 socket and will be compatible with Intel X299-based motherboards with the appropriate BIOS and features.
