Black Ops Cold War Zombies has a major new location on the way, and we finally know what Firebase Z’s full map will look like.
Since its launch, Black Ops Cold War has felt a bit lacking in content. This is especially true for fans who like the Zombies game mode.
While Die Maschine has been one of the best Zombies experiences for quite some time, launching with a single undead card was a questionable decision. Now, almost 3 months after the release of Cold War, the second local Zombies is coming.
In case you missed it, we finally have an amazing new trailer for the Cold War Zombies Firebase Z map. The update is slated to drop on February 4th and it’s worth the wait.
But for fans keen to get a taste of how Firebase Z works, we have a full map layout here.
Black Ops Cold War Zombies – Full Firebase Z Map Revealed
Thanks to a thorough analysis of Cold War Zombies YouTuber Caspahz, we know exactly how Firebase Z’s map is presented.
Taking advantage of all the resources in the game, including the recent Firebase Z teaser images, Caspahz was able to piece together how the new map works.
From what we can see, Black Ops Cold War Zombies players will start where the new trailer begins. This location is actually already present in the game, in the Fractured Jaw campaign mission.
The roof that Samantha Maxis crawls over will lead to a new staircase, however. Using these stairs, players can head to the Firebase Z map teleportation system.
Thanks to a screenshot of the upcoming map trailer, we also know that the Quick Revive Perk is present in the starting area.
The trailer suggests that Cold War Zombies fans will need to reach the teleporter before the Zombies invade them. From there you can transport yourself freely to the Omega facility.
Firebase Z Omega Installation Outpost
The Omega Facility is the primary location of the Firebase Z map in Black Ops Cold War.
When you teleport to the outpost, the new Black Ops Cold War Zombies Tombstone Perk machine will be right in front of you.
Running forward and just to the left corner, players will encounter Cold War’s new zombie enemy and have the chance to purchase an AUG on the wall. If they wish, the squads can also move inside the establishment.
The Firebase Z Omega facility houses the Ether Reactor, which players must stabilize by killing zombies in the area. Once this is done, two doors to the room will open, as if you had powered up the device in a standard board.

Exiting through one of the doors, you’ll enter the Sentry Cannon area of the Firebase Z map. Besides two bunkers with automated weapons, you’ll notice a second Perk machine – although we don’t know which type yet.
It’s entirely possible that this is one of the 3 remaining perks that Treyarch has yet to reveal.
Not far from one of the Sentry pistols, we can also see the Mystery Box light, where players can purchase the new Zombies Wonder weapon.
You will also be able to fight against the Elder God, one of the unsolved Easter Eggs of the Cold War zombies.
