With WWDC fast approaching, we are only a few months away from Apple officially unveiling iOS 13. Compared to last year, the next-generation version of Apple's popular mobile operating system will likely introduce number of interesting new features. If you remember, iOS 12's is mainly focused on improving overall system performance.
When we are told that some of Apple's most ambitious iOS features have been pushed from iOS 12 to iOS 13, it goes without saying that Apple at WWDC this year holds a number of interesting surprises. Although the rumors regarding the iOS 13 are rare, some of the leaked features we've seen so far include a new dark mode, eradicating the HUD in volume for a long time and, oddly enough, a redesigned home screen.
It is not so long ago, the designer Leo Vallet decided to assemble a number of clever designs illustrating some of the features of the iOS 13 supposed to be in preparation. He also made an extra effort and imagined new features that might not see the light of day. The drawings were noticed by 9to5Mac.
By citing three quick examples, the photo below illustrates what dark mode might look like, as well as how users could turn it on and off via a simple, straightforward interface.
This one is very interesting and could actually work well on devices with larger screens. Imagine a user interface in which the multitasking pane becomes part of Control Center.
The picture below shows what a redesigned volume rocker might look like. This sounds ok, but it's definitely an improvement over what iOS users currently have to deal with.
