IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – Iowa University men's basketball coach, Fran McCaffery, was suspended for two games Wednesday, following his post-game comments against an official after the Tuesday night game at Ohio State University.
McCaffery reportedly chased referees after the match and reportedly accused them of cheating in a profane tirade in a hallway at the Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
The suspensions will be for a home game against Rutgers on Saturday, March 2 and Wisconsin on Thursday, March 7, 2019.
