It’s been almost a week since the Iowa Hawkeyes last took to hardwood, but the drought ends tonight for hoop fans. The Hawkeyes, who are now No. 3 nationally after some upheaval over the weekend, enter tonight’s game with a perfect 2-0 record after wins over Central North Carolina and from the south.
Their opponent tonight, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, has yet to play a game this season. It creates some uncertainty around the game and it probably reflects in the line of play, but one thing is clear: Iowa is a big favorite.
