AMES, Iowa (KCRG) – The Iowa State men’s basketball team has indefinitely suspended all activities due to the program’s COVID-19 protocols, according to a statement released Friday.

Due to the break, Saturday’s game in Kansas has been postponed.

“The priority for us is the safety and well-being of everyone in our program,” head coach Steve Prohm said in the statement. “While it’s disappointing that we can’t play this weekend, we can’t wait to get back to competition when it’s safe to do so.”

No decision has been made for future ISU games at this point.
