iPhone 11 dummy pictures in cases show us what to expect

[ad_1]

In July, we took a look at some fake models of the iPhone 11 to give us a clear idea of what to expect. IPhone case makers Nood, Totallee and Olixar give us another insight, with a good series of photos showing the dummy units in (of course) the enclosures of each company.

The square hump of the camera has been the subject of many discussions, many expressing a disgust for the design, and in particular with the asymmetrical triangular arrangement of the camera …

However, what the dummy units have not told us is the visibility of the lenses in the square module. If you look at the existing dual-camera iPhones, the lenses are not particularly noticeable in the oval case, unless you're actively fixing it, and I'd expect it to be the same for the iPhone 11 models.

That being the case, I would expect people to get used to it quickly, just as we used the dual camera module in the current models.

Totallee can then have made the right decision with its housings, which simply have a cutout for the entire module – although the dummy models it uses have a lightweight casing, making the lens arrangement obvious.

Nood, on the other hand, opted for cuts only for the lenses, the flash and the microphone. This means that even though the lenses are actually semi-hidden in the case, their cases really attract attention.

Nood claims that its housings are only 0.2 mm thick and carry no mark.

Thanks to its 0.2mm design, your phone fits easily in your pocket. Just like the way Apple designed it.

We love the design of the iPhone and want to give it the impression that your phone is in the void and there is no case.

The Nood iPhone 11 cases will be available in a choice of 'clear' black or white, or matte black. "Clear" cases are translucent. The photos of Totallee show solid, translucent and transparent options.

Other translucent and transparent shells are available for existing iPhone models. It will be interesting to see if they follow Nood's example of maximizing protection by covering the case or letting Totallee leave the exposed square module.

According to rumors, this year's iPhone XR equivalent will be offered in a range of colors. Olixar uses a dummy model in green to illustrate his own case.
