‘iPhone 13’, ‘Apple Watch Series 7’ to feature in first of two Apple events

Apple’s fall product launches will likely be split across two events, with one source claiming the first will only be for the iPhone 13 ‘and Apple Watch Series 7’.

Apple will host its special “California Streaming” event on Tuesday, with “iPhone 13” expected to be one of the main products launched at that time. While rumors have suggested there could be more than one event, it looks like there will be two in 2021.

“There will be two events,” Gurman said Sunday night. In terms of what will be shown, Gurman says, “I would expect this last one to be Mac + iPad. IPhone / Watch Tuesday.”

There have been rumors that there will be two Apple events this fall, spanning the release schedule over several weeks. It’s even been suggested that there could be two Apple events in September itself, with one at the end of the month to match the mid-month event.

It wouldn’t be the first time Apple has chosen to host multiple events for its product launches. In 2020, due to the necessity of the COVID-19 pandemic and the very large product line, Apple has divided its typical event into three separate events, held over successive months.
