Makayla Phillips goes to Hollywood.

The native of Canyon Lake, Calfornia, seduced the judges of NBC's "America's Got Talent" show Tuesday with his hard-hitting vocals in an interpretation of Demi Lovato's "Warrior". Strutting on stage, she seemed like a natural star delighting in her element that even impressed Judge Simon Cowell.

It was all nervousness and hugs before Phillips came on stage. It was a dream of a lifetime, said his parents behind the scenes. The daughter of a firefighter and theater teacher, Phillips has been watching "AGT" since she was 3 years old and wanted to be on the show ever since. She perfected her singing skills, making her parents crazy by practicing even at the most embarrbading hour of 3 pm

One of the judges, Heidi Klum, applauded Phillips, springing from the talent of the young fighter.
