Tributes were paid to a mother who died tragically during a family holiday in Turkey.

Seaneen McCullough, of West Belfast, reportedly died after falling off a balcony Wednesday morning while she was on vacation with her son and companion.

The 37-year-old nurse was working as a nurse at Mater Hospital

Writing on Facebook, the United Union Branch of Mater Hospital wrote: "C & Is with deep regret that we learn the tragic pbading of our friend, colleague and member in unison, Seaneen McCullough. , Seaneen sadly died as a result of a fall from a balcony while she was on vacation in Turkey with her son Eoin and companion Paul

"Seaneen was a person who loved a lot to have fun and who was a great friend. Ward C of Mater Hospital and an esteemed member of the staff team.

The death of Ms. McCullough was followed by a wave of tributes to the family mother on social media.
