BALTIMORE, MD – The National Weather Service on Thursday released a flash survey of several counties in central Maryland. The watch is calling for potentially strong and slow thunderstorms.
The eve-light took effect before 2 pm Thursday and ends until midnight
A rapid flood shows that conditions could develop leading to a flash flood.
The following areas are subject to lightning surveillance: Baltimore, Frederick, Carroll, Harford, and Washington.
Hagerstown, Frederick, Ballenger Creek,
Eldersburg, Westminster, Reisterstown, Cockeysville, Jarrettsville and Paw Paw
Water levels could increase rapidly in these areas due to slow thunderstorms. that can bring heavy rain, according to weather officials
