Norwegian Air International will launch Dublin-Canada flights next summer and reinstate the Cork-Boston service that it suspends this fall, the carrier said Friday.

The airline, the Norwegian subsidiary of Norwegian Air Shuttle, launched its summer 2019 program, claiming that it will increase services at Cork, Dublin and Shannon airports by 37%.

Norwegian will begin flying for the first time from Dublin to Hamilton Airport in Canada, about 80 km from Toronto, starting on March 31st.

Hamilton is connected to several other Canadian destinations and is close to attractions such as Niagara Falls.

The carrier will increase its flights from the capital to Providence, Rhode Island in the United States. from five times a week to once a day. Norwegian will continue his twice daily service from Dublin to Stewart International Airport in the state of New York.

Norwegian will relaunch his Cork-Providence flights next summer. The airline terminated this service, initially launched year-round, from November to March, due to weak demand.

The airline plans to increase its summer service from Shannon to Stewart International to five flights a week from three. Norwegian will maintain its four weekly services from the Midwest Airport to Providence.

Thomas Ramdhal, the Norwegian Sales Manager, said the airline was expanding its services to meet the demand.

"The market presents a clear opportunity to offer more high-quality flights at lower rates for consumers on both sides of the Atlantic," added Mr. Ramdhal
