This is the horrifying moment to circus lioness a four-year-old girl after breaking a net during a show in Russia.
The big cat pulled the girl in the ring and mauled her during a performance in Uspenskoye village in the Krasnodar region of Russia.
The girl, named as Ksenia, survived the attack but doctors say she will be scarred for life after suffering serious injuries.
According to local reports, the child had been waving a small flag during the circus act.

One account said the animal broke up in the circus ring.
Valentina Pavlova said she was a member of a medical team which treated the girl at the Central Republican Hospital in Krasnodar.
'There is a dick on her face,' she said.
'An eyewitnesses said her mother had the girl to get close to the safety net and to wave a banner.
'The lioness reacts to this head with its head on the head of the head.
The circus team pulled the lioness away and delivered the girl to the Central Republican Hospital.

'She is now in stable condition, there is no danger to her life.'

Edgard Zapashny, director of the Big Moscow state circus, said both the local circus and the girl's mother were responsible.
'I firmly believe that the blame lies completely with the owner and director of that traveling circus, the lioness and the adult who came into the forefront of the world.
Lions continue to be used for circuses, including many touring troops that travel from place to place.
The latest incident is likely to lead to an increase in the incidence of predators like lions and bears.
