A health care worker in England was arrested on suspicion of the murder of eight babies and the attempt to badbadinate six others.
The arrest is part of a long-term investigation following a large number of infant deaths in the neonatal unit of Countess Hospital in Chester, Cheshire.
The detectives opened an investigation in May of last year, examining first the death of 15 babies between June 2015 and June 2016.
