A homemade bomb found in Belfast

Police confirmed that a homemade bomb had been found on a demarcation line in east Belfast

following a violent water hammer on the fence near the Loyalist Zone of Cluan Place this afternoon.

The remains of the craft were found on the nationalist side of the peaceline on Clandeboye Drive

Police remain in the Cluan Pl and Clandeboye Dv areas of East Belfast as a result of reports of a strong blow The remains of what is considered a viable pipe bomb type device have been found in Clandeboye Dv. We are asking for patience and support as the police work to secure the area.
