A woman from Louisiana was arrested Saturday in the mysterious death of a six-month-old boy who was kidnapped and burned, police said.

Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith was charged Saturday with a first-degree murder death of Levi Cole Ellerbe, police announced Monday. Authorities received a call to 911 around 9:10 pm On July 17, a child was taken from a house to Mayberry Trailer Park

. An unidentified mother told the police that two people had sprayed her with the face of a chemical, perhaps a mbad. She said that she fled the trailer to escape the attackers.

When she returned, her 6-month-old son was gone.

Officers started looking for the missing child until they received a call around 10:20 pm. about a fire near Breda Avenue, about a mile from where the boy was taken away. Police found a baby with burns on his body

He was flown to a hospital where he died later.

It is not known whether Smith has a personal or family relationship with the mother and her baby. -Age. The police did not say what happened to the two people allegedly involved in the kidnapping.
