A young woman was badaulted and raped by three men as she was walking early in the morning near a nature reserve.
Police launched a manhunt following the nauseating attack at Elland, West Yorkshire, on October 19, between 6:30 am and 7:49 am
The 20-year-old woman needs hospital care and the officers call for help to find the three men responsible.
The crime was first reported as an badault, but the victim recently had the guts to reveal the full extent of the attack to the police.
The men would have approached the victim while she was walking on the towpath between the Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve and the Colliers Arms pub.
They then badaulted the woman before raping her and fleeing the scene.
Detective Chief Sue Jenkinson, a member of the Homicide and Serious Investigations Team, said, "We are investigating what is clearly a very serious offense that has come to light as the victim gained confidence and fully disclosed what had happened.
"She continues to be supported by officers and we are conducting several investigations into what happened.
"I would like to talk to anyone who can help with the investigation or who has seen or had information about three men who we thought were on the towpath at the time of the day." 39; attack. "
