Amanda Knox shared a video on Tuesday by Brendan Dbadey, asking that he be released from prison.
The American who was once dubbed 'Foxy Knoxy' was locked up for four years in a row. Meredith Kercher in Perugia.
She made headlines all over the world when she and her boyfriend at the time, Raffaele Sollecito, were wrongfully convicted of the murder of the British student in Italy in 2007.

Knox has reached Brendan Dbadey in a new video shared on Facebook.
She told viewers: 'If you're worried about how the system is treated Brendan Dbadey, you're not alone. I am too.
'There's a lot of things going on in this world, but there's also a lot of hope.'
In 2003, Steven Avery, 41, was released from jail on new DNA evidence after serving 18 years for a rape he did not commit.
Two years later, just in the millions of dollars in Wisconsin for millions, he was arrested again over the murder of photographer Teresa Halbach.
His nephew Brendan Dbadey, then just 16, was also sentenced to life imprisonment.
The television show revolved around two men accused of murder.
Both were convicted, in separate trials, of the killing of Teresa Halbach, a 25-year-old freelance photographer.
In 2005, he was found in a fire pit where he lived in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin.

The video, which was shared on Facebook by Tracy Keogh, has almost 5,000 views.
Knox was exonerated by the Italian Supreme Court in 2015 and then returned to Seattle to rebuild her life.
