Bus crash injures Princeton students on way to Yale game
WEST HAVEN — West Haven police and firefighters responded to a coach bus accident Saturday, according to the police department.
The accident took place at 870 Campbell Avenue, police said.
According to reports, the bus was carrying students from Princeton University to the school’s football game with Yale.
Princeton said in a statement four students were injured in a West Haven bus crash Saturday and taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
The driver was also hospitalized, according to the university.
The off ramp from Exit 43 is closed as a result of the accident, according to the Department of Transportation.
