CT Weather: Week of Rain, Moisture and Flood

It's no secret that this week is not going to be a good week for Connecticut as clouds, rain showers, thunderstorms and very wet conditions dominate this week. The National Meteorological Service provides the answer as to why the weather will be so poor this week.

The National Weather Service published a Hazardous Weather Outlook for all of Connecticut for the coming week. For the Southern Connecticut meteorological service said, "A frontal system approaching late at night from Tuesday to Thursday could produce showers and thunderstorms capable of causing sudden floods. It is still too early to determine exactly the moment and places impacted. "

For Northern Connecticut the meteorological service says," Scattered showers and thunderstorms will locally bring heavy showers, an isolated severe thunderstorm or localized flash flood is possible. "

" Showers and Scattered thunderstorms will bring heavy showers locally Wednesday night until Thursday, an isolated violent thunderstorm or localized flash flood is possible on these days, "adds the meteorological service.

WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons said: "On the bleak side today with a lot of humidity and some intermittent rains, high temperatures in the 70s to around 80. Very humid tonight! Expect some breaks tomorrow with less chance of rain! The rain and high humidity are back Wednesday. "
