A murder investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman’s body at a house in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, possession of cannabis and theft of a vehicle.
The PSNI said the body of 59-year-old Pauline Kennedy was found at her home in the Cornacully Road area of Enniskillen at around 1pm this afternoon.
Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell, who is leading the investigation, said the discovery was made by her sister after concerns were raised when Ms Kennedy did not turn up at work.
He said that contents of the victim’s handbag and her car had also been removed from the property.
A post-mortem examination is to be carried out and police are appealing for information.
