Kepak Group acquired the red meat operations of the British food group 2 Sisters as part of an initiative that will increase "significantly" the value and scale of the producers' activity Irish meat and food.

Founded in 1981 by Noel & Marie Keating, Kepak realizes a turnover of about 1 billion euros and employs 3,000 people spread over twelve production sites and several sales offices. Kepak's mainstream brands include Rustlers, Big Al's, Feasters and Stript Snacks.
