    Meck County restaurant worker the latest case of hepatitis A, officials say



CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Mecklenburg County Health Department has confirmed another case of hepatitis A.

Health officials have not identified the person but said they are a restaurant worker.

This is the 14th case of hepatitis A reported in the county since June. That’s when a Hardee’s employee in west Charlotte was diagnosed with the virus.

Thousands of people were warned to get a vaccine after they ate at that restaurant.
