Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader, was verbally harbaded by protesters calling for the abolition of the US Immigration and Customs Act while he was leaving a restaurant in Louisville on Saturday morning.

McConnell, R-Ky., Was with outgoing Kentucky House Majority Leader Jonathan Shell that the protesters shouted in unison, "Vote you out!" And "Abolish ICE!" Video obtained by the Courier-Journal showed.

"Where are the babies, Mitch?" Another protester shouted, presumably in reference to the Trump administration's controversial "zero tolerance" policy of separating illegally captured families across the border. The policy was canceled later.

McConnell appeared expressionless as he was riding in a vehicle and someone shouted, "We know where you live, Mitch. We know where you live. "

Shell later dismissed the protesters as" a small group of extremists "and compared their" unpleasant "remarks to something" out of Maxine Waters' textbook. "

Waters, a Democratic congressional from Los Angeles, made headlines to encourage protesters to harbad White House officials on immigration policies of the administration.

Towards the end of the video, a protester says, "We did a good job, my fellow citizens."

McConnell refused the Courier Journal's request for comment

Last month McConnell and his wife, Elaine Chao, were confronted with protesters while leaving an event at Georgetown University

"How do you sleep at night?" a protester shouted.

"You leave my husband alone!", Replied Chao.
