DOYLESTOWN, Pennsylvania – Prosecutors say that a mother from Pennsylvania killed her 11-week-old son with a lethal mix of drugs in her milk maternal
Samantha Jones was charged Friday with criminal homicide in the death of her baby on April 2nd.
The Bucks District Attorney's Office says that an autopsy revealed that the baby had died of a combination of methadone, amphetamine, and methamphetamine. According to an affidavit, the 30-year-old man told the police that she was too tired to make a bottle to the baby when he woke up crying and bad fed him .
A few hours later, the baby was pale and had blood coming from his nose. He died in the hospital.
Jones told the police that he had been prescribed methadone because of a pain addiction
