A mother and her child who were the subject of an Amber alert on Saturday night were found safe at a roadside check, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Brandon Alexander, 31, would have taken the 15-month-old child, Xavier Alexander, and his mother, around 5:45 am Saturday, according to the Upland Police Department.
Alexander has received a restraining order against him and is currently under community tutelage for his domestic violence, according to a ministry tweet.
