NBC 5 Forecast: Hot, but no record heat | weather

[ad_1]

Tuesday we should be able to shoot down a few more degrees than the highs and fall just under the hundred mark for the first time in the last 10 days.

Temperatures will rise above 100 degrees for the middle part of the week until next weekend, but we'll keep our eyes on the end of next weekend. Another weak cold front may try to slip into North Texas to give us another slightly cooler air and perhaps some thunderstorms.

Please, take it seriously and do not overdo it on the outside. Stay hydrated and schedule any intense activity early in the day (before 10 am). See the tips below to avoid and treat heat stroke and heat exhaustion.
