The National Treasury Management Agency today sold 750 million Irish bonds at an auction.
The NTMA has declared that the auction of 350 million euros from the 2023 loan and 400 million euros loan 2028 completes its bond issue for the # 39; year.
The bonds were issued at respective yields of 0.03% and 0.99% at the auction today.
The agency said the total amount of nominal bond financing has risen to 17.25 billion euros this year, which corresponds to the funding range set from 14 billion to 18 billion euros. ; euro.
According to the NTMA, a total of 11 billion euros was raised thanks to the subscribed sales of three new benchmark bonds – with maturities of 10, 12 and 15 years.
The third of these syndications – in October – was marked by the issuance of the country's first green bond by the NTMA, which raised a total of 3 billion euros of debt to 12 years for a return of 1.399%.
The NTMA said the green bond was part of its strategy to diversify its emissions and gain access to a new investor base that could lend to Ireland.
