Off-duty cop accidentally shoots his friend dead and then kills himself when he achieves what he has done

This is the tragic moment an off-duty cop accidentally shot by accident – before suddenly turning the gun on him when he realised his mistake.

Flavio de Oliveira, 31, who recently graduated from military police school, is said to be drinking at a bar in Goiania, central west Brazil, with friends.

It looks like it's planned to drive home after socializing and was inside his car last week.

Second row shot and hit bullet 20-year-old Matheus Castro student at point blank range.

Matheus was sitting on his motorbike, dressed in a black t-shirt, close to the open window on the pbadenger side.

Everyone scattered the victim's bike toppled over and he fell to the ground and was blinded by a pole.

He was rushed to hospital but died shortly afterwards from his injuries.

CCTV released by Oliveira investigators shows getting out of his head and walking around the world.

Detectives claimed the desperate cop apparently took a step back to the driver's side.

He leaned himself inside the temple and shot himself in the temple.

His body immediately slipped into the scene.

Homicide detective Magda D'Avila said that the police had been responsible for this crime.

Detective D'Avila said: "We believe he had his gun with him when he was accidentally gone off.

When he saw what he had apparently done, he seems to have taken the moment to take his own life.

"He was a suitably qualified military police officer and we are looking at his history of handling this incident."

Forensic investigators are badyzing the evidence of accidental detection.
