MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Police officers from Myrtle Beach responded to what they called a big fight on Broadway at the Beach on Wednesday night. Some Broadway residents said that shots were fired, prompting many people to hide in shops, restaurants and bars

Witnesses said that about 15 minutes into the fireworks at 10 pm, they saw people running and screaming that shots had been fired. The chaos was in the area that stretches around Dave and Busters around the Ripley Aquarium. According to witnesses, people who had run in bars and restaurants were encouraged to stay away from doors and windows.
