Ryanair flight tracking to Dublin Airport declares emergency

A Ryanair flight on its way to Dublin Airport from Poland has declared a mid-flight emergency.

The flight departed at 11.16am (local time) this morning from Gdansk, Polan. Medics had called ahead for badistance for an ill-stricken pbadenger.

A Ryanair spokesman said:

"This flight from Gdansk to Dublin (7 Nov) diverted to Newcastle after a customer has become ill on board.

The crew called ahead to request medical badistance, the aircraft landed normally and the customer disembarked and was met by medics for further treatment.

The aircraft will depart for Dublin shortly. Ryanair apologizes to all customers for this short delay. "
