Ryanair said its pbadenger numbers increased by 7% in October, from 11.8 million to 11.8 million in the same month last year.

The airline said its load factor – the number of seats it occupies on each flight – was 96%.

Ryanair said that the total number of Laudamotion pbadengers, recently launched, increased by 11%, reaching 13.1 million last month.

In October, the airline had to cancel just over 300 flights because of a five-day strike at Brussels-Zaventem airport, adverse weather conditions (winter storms) and persistent shortages ATC staff in the UK, Germany and France.
