Phibro Animal Health Corporation will create a biotechnology plant producing a range of animal health vaccines in the IDA Ireland Finisklin Industrial Park in Sligo, creating up to 150 jobs over five years.

Phibro develops, manufactures and markets a wide range of animal health and nutrition products for poultry, pork, livestock, dairy customers and aquaculture around the world. The company had annual sales of $ 764 million in more than 65 countries in its last fiscal year and employs more than 1,400 people worldwide.

Phibro is a publicly traded company headquartered in Teaneck, New Jersey, United States.

The new manufacturing plant will initially focus on the production of Phibro's innovative line of vaccines for the treatment of a range of poultry diseases intended for sale in the world. In the future, Phibro plans to expand production to include vaccines for livestock and aquaculture.
