SNOW could reach the fringes of London this weekend, with the freezing UK weather forecast.
Some forecasters claim this could be the coldest Halloween in almost a century, as temperatures drop dramatically.

The mercury could plummet as low as -5C – and feel even colder when wind chill is factored in – in some remote Scottish spots, with lows hovering around 0C in the South.
Cold Arctic is set to sweep across the UK from Friday, bringing a lot more wintry feel and forcing trick-or-treaters to wrap up warm over the Halloween weekend.
Snowfall is expected to come along with this feat of freezing air – and it is more likely that some of the areas in the UK could have some flurries.
As it is, this time of day may be quoted this weekend, when -8.10C was recorded in Braemar in the Scottish Highlands in 1922.

North London, Cambridge and parts of Surrey and Kent may be a small scattering of snowflakes on Saturday evening, some weather forecast.
Exacta Weather forecaster James Madden told the Express: "Snow showers are now in London, Wales, and parts of central England towards the end of this week.
These are likely to be made to come alive, but they are still very early for winters weather around the Capital.
"A continuation of this wintry weather will continue to be the next generation of snow showers in the run-up to Halloween and into the first part of the next month."

The Met Office is less confident about snow falling over the weekend, but also expects it will be "much colder and brighter with brisk winds and scattered heavy showers" with wintry showers on northern and Welsh hills.
A spokesman said they would be distinctly cold with minimum temperatures hovering around -3 or -4C in Scotland, but that could be milder following the weekend.
But Brian Gaze, director and forecaster for the Weather Outlook told The Sun Online he predicts the lows of -5C, adding: "There is a chance of rain turning to sleet or wet snow on the leading edge of weather in the southern hemisphere. half of the UK such as the Welsh mountains and perhaps to lower levels in the north.

Amy Hodgson, meteorologist for the Weather Company, told The Sun Online: "Snow accumulations of 2 to 5cm are likely in the Scottish Highlands between Friday – Monday.
"Numerical weather prediction models are differing with the extent of snowfall from the British Isles.
"A light sprinkling of snow, is possible over the upper elevations of the Pennines and the Welsh mountains, while a showery can be found at lower levels, with no accumulation.
"Maximum temperatures across England & Wales on Saturday from 6 to 9C, locally 10C across the SE.

"A cold night on Saturday with a scattered frost as temperatures lower to 1 to 4C, 5 or 6C across the east coast of England.
"Remaining cold on Sunday, with highs of 7 to 10C across England & Wales, with overnight on Sunday from 0 to 3C."
As we move to the Met Office, the weather will be "changeable", with more frost and temperatures "staying on the cold side".
