Officers explained that there was a lack of security with respect to ill-fitting bulletproof vests, defective cars, inadequate staffing and insufficient wages, according to the WWLP.

Officials remind Blandford residents to continue to call 911 for emergencies but have rerouted non-emergency calls to the state.
