Mandatory evacuations were ordered Friday evening as a bushfire destroyed structures in Goleta during a heat wave in Southern California
Firefighters responded to the fire dubbed the 39; Holiday incident in the 1500 block of Holiday Hill Road. According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, threats were ongoing and evacuations were underway.
