Social Media fall in love with a very stylish donkey whose owners had a genius solution to keep flies at bay.

Marjorie, 25, at Donkey Sanctuary's Paccombe Farm in Devon, wears socks to prevent flies from biting her legs during the summer months.

Posting a photo of her on Twitter, the Sanctuary of Donkeys said: "After realizing that the repellent spray did not help, our team found Marjorie's fabulous striped socks to help ward off the insects."

The Sanctuary of Donkeys says: "The socks help the donkeys who are older, especially with Arthritis, "Over the years, Donkey Sanctuary has tried using old stockings and tights tied with duct tape – but they have tended to slip after a few hours, so the socks are the best and most effective option. "

In addition to being an effective way to keep flies at bay, people love the new Marjorie look.
