You do not have time to do your taxes? The filing of an extension of six months is simple.
Josmar Taveras, USA TODAY & # 39; HUI
It's time to send your tax returns on time.
Your return must be sent by the 15th of April at the latest, postmarked, postage stamped and correctly addressed for timely review by the IRS, in accordance with the US Postal System.
Make sure to weigh your return to get the correct postage. Most returns weigh more than one ounce, so you will need more than one stamp. Your return will be returned to you if you do not have enough postage.
Place your return in a blue USPS collection box with a lead time before the deadline. Some post offices will be open longer and will offer late post-marking on tax day. Call in advance to find out.
