23-year-old Palestinian killed with Israeli army in West Bank – Israel News

A 23-year-old Palestinian man was killed in the West Bank between Israeli troops and Palestinians, according to Palestinian reports.

The man, who has been identified as Muhammad Basharat, was wounded in the West Bank village of Tamun, in the Tubas area.

Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli army entered the village around 1:00 A.M. to conduct arrests. A conflict then ensued between the soldiers and dozens of Palestinian. Palestinians were wounded during the clashes. Their condition remains unclear.

Basharat was evacuated to a hospital in Jenin, where he was pronounced dead, the reports said.

The Israeli army 's Spokesperson' s Unit said in Tamun, violent riots erupted in which dozens of Palestinians hurled rocks and threw flares at Israeli soldiers.

The statement said the response by the fire and the riot dispersal means to contain the incident.

On Monday, another Palestinian was killed in the Palestinian city of Hebron after stealing from the Cave of Patriarchs, a place of worship in the city for Muslims and Jews alike.

The Palestinian Gaza Strip, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

The Gaza Health Ministry identified the fatality as a 17-year-old male, Monetsir Mohammed Elbaz.
