It's been 25 years that "Mrs. Doubtfire" splashed on the big screen and in our hearts. The cast of stars, less the late Robin Williams and the legendary Sally Fields, has recently reunited for a group interview on the Today Show to honor this event and recall the darling Williams .
Lisa Jakub, Matthew Lawrence, Pierce Brosnan and Mara Wilson spoke to NBC's Gadi Schwartz about their experience as cult clbadic stars and the profound impact of Robin Williams on them during their shoot. Jakub, Lawrence and Wilson played the three Hillard children, with Brosnan, then almost unknown, at the center of their mother's love concerns.

When asked about Williams, the actors returned with nostalgia for Williams' unparalleled dexterity as an actor. Brosnan said that attending the veteran's fight in Hollywood was simply enchanting. "Observing his artistic talent, his commitment, his pbadion, his humanity and his hard work and his commitment to the role and for each of the actors on the set, it has permeated all our lives," he said. Working with Williams, Brosnan said: "It was a paradise."
Wilson, who was five years old during the shoot, marveled at Williams' innate charm. "He was so good with children … He was very kind, very generous, very funny … an accomplished interpreter," she recalls.
Matthew Lawrence described Robin Williams as a "leading source" and stated that he admired the star for both his talents and his mentoring. Williams, apparently, advised him to stay away from drugs.
Lisa Jakub also talks about Williams' views on darker, more personal subjects. She, too, thought of him as a mentor because of the frankness with which he engaged her in taboo discussions and gave him advice. "One of the most powerful things for me in working with him, is that he's been very open and honest, talking about his addiction and depression issues," he said. she said.
