Eight people, including children, were killed Tuesday afternoon in a car crash on Highway 90 between the Dead Sea and Ein Gedi. It was the most deadly car accident in Israel in six years.
One of the vehicles, an eight-seater commercial van, caught fire and all pbadengers on board, members of the same family, were killed.

Highway 90 was closed to traffic between Ein Gedi and Ein Bokek in both directions due to the accident.
