The Israeli army renews its strikes in Gaza, Hamas retaliates with rocket fire

Palestinians reported several strikes across the Gaza Strip, including widespread strikes in the northern part of the Strip, a strike on Hamas' military wing in the central part of the Strip, a strike in the Egyptian border area, and a strike in the district of Zeitoun east of Gaza City.

A red mermaid was fired on Saturday afternoon in Sha 's HaNegev and Hof Ashkelon' s regional councils, and the Iron Dome missile defense system was used to intercept rockets.

IDF attacked a Hamas terrorist tunnel on Saturday morning in response to further violence along the border, after which the terrorist organization fired over 30 rockets and mortars on Israel.

The shoreline of Zikim was also closed for entry and bathing.
