Russia has offered to keep Iranian forces in Syria far from the border with Israel's occupied Golan, but Israel wants Tehran to withdraw completely, an Israeli official said on Tuesday.
Moscow made offer Iranian forces would stay 100 kilometers from the Syrian border with the Golan – during talks in Jerusalem between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Monday -he adds.
Israel Wants Guarantees Allied groups, such as Hezbollah, are kept out of the Golan and beyond.
