The Israeli military court of Ofer dismissed the appeal lodged by Palestinian writer Lama Khater against his detention, announced yesterday the Palestinian Prisoners' Club
. Khater's lawyer, Firas Al-Sabah, arrested, she was the subject of an investigation following articles and publications on social networks that she published.
Khater, 42, from Hebron, in the occupied West Bank, is known for his critical work against the Palestinian Authority and Israel. The mother of five children was arrested at her home by the occupation forces on 24 July.
