Paige VanZant is getting her back to the Octagon under the banner of the UFC after a long absence. VanZant has just undergone her last surgery while she continues to recover in order to keep her course on the return.

VanZant showed his toughness in his fight against Jessica-Rose Clark at the main event co-hosted by UFC St. Louis (Fight Night 124) at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. She went away with a unanimous decision loss against Clark.

She was operated shortly after the flyweight competition for a broken arm. It was later revealed that the healing process had not worked well, which ultimately led to a second intervention.

This was done to fully recover and forced her to participate in a four hour operation. During this operation, doctors had to take bone fragments taken from the hip and moved to the arm.

In a recent interview, VanZant said that seeing other fighters in her division progress in her career makes her jealous. However, that forced her to have a lot of aggression.

"It makes me really jealous," said VanZant MMAjunkie. "I have a lot of accumulated energy and aggression right now, so he has to endure all that. It's really fun. "

This is not the first time she's been pausing as she did in 2016. At the time, she decided to do it to participate in "Dancing with the Stars." This break not being his choice, it was a different experience.

"This one was different because it was not by choice," said VanZant. "And have something important removed from you. And you are told that you have to sit and watch, that is awful.

The good news for the prospect is the fact that she was allowed to train again for cardio reasons. Now, she hopes to be allowed to complete training including the strike.

"And what made the situation even worse was that I was planning a bit like a typical surgery and a typical schedule for that. I thought I would resume my training in eight weeks, and it's been nine months. And two surgeries and a hip surgery that will help, for example, to repair the arm. So it's a very long process that I did not plan to go through. "
