Artist Ismail Shomala’s last good read is Yuval Noah Harari’s ’21 Lessons for the 21st Century’. “I find it very interesting because it talks a lot about humanity and how we have evolved, especially how politics and technology shape the direction of the future, the advent of Artificial Intelligence, what it is now and what it means for the future,” he said.
Shomala is a graphic artist and illustrator. This year his work features at Ake Arts and Book Festival in Ikeja, Lagos.
