– Senator Eyinanya Abaribe has written the Nigerian High Commissioner to Israel on Nnamdi Kanu's status in the country
– Abaribe wants the ambbadador to investigate the fact that the leader of IPOB is currently taking refuge in Israel

Counsel to Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, President of the Indigenous People's of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has written the Nigerian Ambbadador to Israel, Enoch Duchi, seeking the true status of the IPOB leader in that country .
Abaribe's lawyer, Chukwu Machukwu Ume (SAN) in a letter dated Wednesday, November 7, asked the Nigerian Ambbadador in Israel to the status of Nnamdi Kanu from the government of Israel Nigeria since September 2017.
Part of the letter read: "We are the counsel to Senator Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe, a distinguished senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing Abia South senatorial area in the 8th Senate of Nigeria National Assembly.
"As a pronounced patriot, he recently, against all odds, put on the subject of the constitution of the liberty of an accused, and of tension in our polity, by standing on the subject of Nnamdi Kanu (who is on trial on the allegations of treasonable in CHARGE No. FHC / ABJ / CR / 383/2015.)
"In fact, Nnamdi Kanu is the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (lPOB). On the 28th, April 2017 the trial of the state of the land and the state of the land.

He told the ambbadador that the Nigerian Army, had in September 2017, declared Operation Python Dance (Egwu Eke) in the whole of south-east, from September 15 to October 14 2017.
He added that the military however invaded Kanu's homepage before the official beginning of the said operation adding that IPOB leader has not been seen since then.
He stated that reports had been made that the IPOB had been sighted in Israel.
He asked for the ambbadador to painstakingly inquire from the government of Israel as follows:
a) Nnamdi Kanu, a Nigerian citizen in their country, Israel?
b) Where there is a Nnamdi Kanu standing trial in CHARGE No. FHC / ABI / CR / 383/2015 and that was never seen again during the tragic military invasion of his home on 14 of September 2017.
c) If he is the one in Israel, please find out from the government of Israel how to get there? What of his royal parents?
d) As the law firm of Sen Abaribe. Nnamdl Kanu said Nnamdl Kanu has been tested by Nnamdl Kanu in the US. Nnamdl Kanu standing trial in CHARGE No. FHC / ABI / CR / 383/2015.

Meanwhile, the Department of State Services (DSS) has denied that of its staff a Nnamdi Kanu to escape from his Umuahia home last year.
Kanu's whereabouts was unknown, until he surfaced in Israel recently, after the alleged raid by a combined team of the army, police and the DSS at his home in Abia state.
A statement by the public relations officer of the service, Peter Afunanya, said that the purported report was fake, mischievous and defamatory.
