Jason Momoa's Aquaman will be available on December 14th.

The first reactions to the film DC Aquaman appeared online. The role of Jason Momoa was presented in London last night and the reactions multiplied on Twitter. Most of the reactions are positive and one in particular has described the film as the best DC film since The Dark Knight.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman takes place after the events of the Justice League last year. Arthur Curry or Aquaman learns that he is the heir to the submarine kingdom of Atlantis and teams up with Mera to prevent conflict between the underwater world and the surface world.

Aquaman's enemies include King Orm of Arthur's half-brother Patrick Wilson and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's Black Manta. To confront them, Arthur tries to recover the trident of Poseidon with Mera on the superficial ruins of Atlantis, thanks to the advice of Vulko (Willem Dafoe). Nicole Kidman plays Arthur's mother, Queen Atlanna. Dolph Lundgren plays Nereus, the king of an Atlantean tribe.

Tom Jorgensen of IGN tweeted, "#Aquaman is the best DC movie since The Dark Knight. @creepypuppet delivers an epic epic, full of thrills, stunning underwater graphics, thrilling action and lots of laughs. WB should give the reins of the DCEU to James Wan, he proved that he could do it, ahem, aboard the ship. "

Peter Sciretta of Slashfilm.com said: "A #Aquaman is better than expected. It's like being in the first phase of Marvel, in the good sense of the word. This is the best time to have fun and not take yourself too seriously. Black Manta is a big bad guy that comic fans will love. Some spectacular shots and good actions. "
