Sharon Van Etten has published today a video to accompany his new song "Jupiter 4".
With his single "Comeback Kid", "Jupiter 4" is one of the first songs recorded for his new album "Remind Me Tomorrow", which will be released on January 18th.
Combining drones and strange synths with the evocative lyrics of Van Etten, the video, directed by Katherine Dieckmann, accentuates the haunted emotion of the song. Van Etten worked with Dieckmann previously when Van Etten scored his film Strange weather.

About his collaboration with Dieckmann, Van Etten said: "I was looking forward to collaborating again with Katherine since the end of our work together on her film in 2016.
"Since the film was packed, she has not only been a guiding force in my work, but also a light and guiding force in my life, sharing with me stories about how she and her husband have done work with two child New York artists and encourage me to come back to my music after the birth of my son. "

"The trick was figuring out how to link the power of the song to visual elements that could serve his ideas without spelling them.
