Kristen Stewart is in talks to appear in the "happiest season" of TriStar Pictures Variety.
The studio acquired worldwide rights to the image of duo writers Clea DuVall and Mary Holland earlier this year. DuVall is also part of the management, which would mark her debut as a studio director.
Marty Bowen and Isaac Klausner will produce under the supervision of Jaclyn Huntling for Temple Hill.
The film tells the story of a young woman whose plan to make a proposal to his girlfriend at the annual family party is upset when she discovers that his partner has not yet communicated with his conservative parents.
Hannah Minghella and Shary Shirazi will oversee the project for TriStar Pictures.
Stewart already has good relations with Sony, proprietor of TriStar, as it should play in the studio restart of the studio "Charlie's Angels". The film is directed by Elizabeth Banks and is also performed by Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska.
In addition to "Charlie's Angels," Stewart has a handful of films to shoot in 2019, including Chernin's "Underwater" and "Against All Enemies," in which she stars actress Jean Seberg. She was recently seen in Lizzie Borden's film "Lizzie".
She is taken over by Gersh.
